Common values and interests, be they current and/or historic, create a platform for exchange and co-operation.

The geopolitical changes of recent years have moved goalposts and created a whole new playing field for the Baltic Sea region. National borders for instance are no longer obstacles to a fruitful exchange of thoughts and activities.

Lions International recognised the changing times and actively took it upon themselves to establish clubs in the central and eastern parts of the Baltic Sea area.

Human exchange – the focal point
It is the contact and exchange between Lions clubs within Baltic Sea Lions being the constructive and inspiring platform.
